A rthur Miller's, All My Sons tells the story of an American family caught up in the struggle between personal responsibility and duty to their country. Joe Keller, a successful, self-made man owns a factory that sold defective airplane parts to the army, which later caused the planes to crash and killed 21 men. He was eventually cleared of all charges, but his business partner landed in prison. Now his oldest son is about to marry the partner's daughter, the affair is revisited, and old questions resurface.

I n the course of the play, Joe's wife, son, and the children of his jailed business partner, confront Joe and each other. Answers push to the surface as the painful truth is revealed surrounding the disappearance of Joe’s youngest son during the war. This play, with the themes of war profiteering, the sacrifices of servicemen, and a family's love and denial, remain as powerful and relevant as ever.

Stage Coach Player's Presents
Children's Theatre Workshop

Stage Coach Players Theatre will offer a Children's Theatre Workshop beginning Saturday, September 13 and running through Saturday, November 1. The Children's Theatre Workshop will offer two distinct classes, Theatre I for students aged 8 - 10 and Theatre II for children ages 10 - 13. The classes will meet from 9 a.m. to noon. The theatre workshops will culminate with a public matinee performance showcasing the children's work on Saturday, November 1.

Children's Theatre Workshops are for children interested in all aspects of theatre. Class participants will learn through acting exercises, theatre games, and rehearsals. Theatre I students learn about and work with costumes, props, and scenery creation in the context of developing their own performance piece. Theatre II students will learn about auditions, lighting, set design, costumes and character development in the context of rehearsing/producing a short play. The class sizes are limited. The cost is $75 per student.

Children's Theatre Workshops are spearheaded by SCP president Gloria Dennison. Ms. Dennison holds a Master's Degree in Theatre. She most recently directed the 2007 reprise of "High School Musical". She also directed the 2006 Spring musical, "Seussical, the Musical". She is best known at Stage Coach Players for directing, however, she has also produced, stage managed, performed, and worked backstage with set design and lighting.
